Founded in March 2024, Powerline Pictures is an independent film production company based in Los Angeles, California. Our team consists of co-founders Harrison Oswald and Addie Tweet, as well as a number of other collaborators and filmmakers. Oswald and Tweet each have held several positions in film production, generally prioritizing leadership and development. As writers and directors, we seek out excellence in storytelling and acting, always aiming to heighten our films through nuanced narratives and poignant performances. Powerline Pictures works in both the short film and feature formats, producing a large variety of works but aiming for consistency in tone. Stylistically, our stories are grounded, gritty, character-driven dramas and comedies.

HARRISON OSWALD
Harrison Oswald is a film writer, director, and editor currently residing in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Asheville, North Carolina and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2024. He also works as a script consultant, boom operator, script supervisor, grip, and production assistant.
Harrison has written and directed over 15 short films, including his short The Receipt which was selected as Programmer’s Pick at the Nation Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY). Recently, his short film The Proposal (writer/director/star) was awarded the Eisner Competition Honorable Mention at the University of California, Berkeley. Some of his other favorite works, which he wrote, directed, and edited, include Charades!, The Creature from Planet X, and Tyrannosaur.
Harrison is currently co-producing the feature film Leaving Paradise, which is set to begin production this summer. He regularly works as a freelance film editor, as well as a production assistant on film and television sets.

ADDIE TWEET
Addie Tweet is a film writer, director, producer and assistant director, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She grew up in San Diego, California and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2025. Addie also works as a script consultant, production manager, script supervisor, and production assistant.
Addie has written and directed several short films, including our recent release Clowns at a Wedding, which she and Harrison co-wrote and directed. Addie also produced and co-wrote the film Tyrannosaur. She has worked as the First AD for several short films, her favorites being Tyrannosaur, Charades!, and Tooth Jerry. Recently, her short film The Proposal (writer/director/star) was awarded the Eisner Competition Honorable Mention at the University of California, Berkeley.
Addie is currently co-producing the feature film Leaving Paradise, which is set to begin production this summer. She also recently taught three undergraduate production courses at UC Berkeley for producers, writers, and directors pitching films to a student film production studio. She oversaw the development of 16 projects, working directly with students to give screenplay feedback and guide production. Addie wrote the curriculum and lectured weekly for each course.
